Mutant Barmonkey Productions is owned and operated by Glen Popple, on whom you can find more info below. Located outside of Milwaukee in Waterford, Wisconsin, Mutant Barmonkey the production company responsible for:

  • Port of Call - A comedy which explains the mysteries of the universe. In bars it’s known as a documentary. Currently in post-production.
  • 99 Bottles Documentary - A real documentary examining the micro-breweries, brew pubs, and history of brewing in Wisconsin. Filmed with Jason Williams of Haptic Vision and David Oplinger of just about everything.
  • Haulin’ Ash - Railroad George Rides Again - This one is hard to explain. It involves a motorcycle, cremation, custom painting...It’s in post-production right now so stay tuned!

Aside from our own productions we’ve worked with Haptic Vision on Victim and Indefinite and Buckley Brothers Productions on Club Envy.

Glen Popple started writing short science fiction and comedic fantasy stories in 1999 and is know mostly for the epic chronicles of the Mutant Barmonkeys. He has been active in the Wisconsin Screenwriters Guild since 2004, and has since written, produced and directed the feature “Port of Call” through his production company Mutant Barmonkey Productions, LLC. He has since been involved with the short format films “Victim”, “Bye Bye Baby” and “Little Cabbages All In A Row”. He is a recovering engineer and master dice shaker.
